Perfect for Family Getaways
everything we needed was steps away, even a restaurant 15 steps from the motel. The staff were real lifesavers when our car broke down, they blocked our room for us, which was way more than I expected. They were so kind! This isn't just another motel, they made the experience personal.

Great Stay with Minor Room Issues
We enjoyed our brief stay, with comfy bedding and friendly staff making it memorable. Take advantage of the huge indoor pool and hot tub! Dining nearby at Baker’s Bakery perfectly complemented our mornings. Just a few improvements needed, like a sturdier shower mat.

We had a fantastic time at the Chief Motel! The large pool was a hit with the kids and the nearby Black Hills State Park offered a great adventure for the whole family, including our dog. We couldn't have asked for a better location near downtown.
My kids wished for a more expansive room as it felt a bit cramped with all of us and our dog. Perhaps adding some more family suites would help avoid this issue.

Had an awesome stay with friends! We explored the Black Hills and even caught a show at the Black Hills Playhouse. The location was perfect, with a lovely pool and great staff who offered tips on where to eat. Don’t miss the nearby coffee shop and brewery.
The shower could use some updates, but it didn’t ruin our time.
